It's beginning to look a lot like the holidays over at Practical Scrappers! This week's challenge is entirely on Christmas Cards! The prize will be a set of Christmas supplies from The Robin's Nest! Wow how cool is that? You definitely need to check it out!
What do you think of this this little origami wreath? I also used this versatile and simple design for turkey last week shown here. Well, friends, I have a couple really great designs coming up in the next couple weeks with this same format. I will even be sharing a tutorial on a decor item (gasp!) using it! Is that enough of a teaser?! I can't wait to show you! It's going to be so fun!
For now, go on over to Practical Scrappers and see all the fun cards that are being shown off this week!

Here's my 3rd and last (boo hoo!) submission for the Moxie Fab World - Christmas in the Old Country Challenge. There are SOOOOOO many beautiful submission for this contest, I don't envy Cath and her job of choosing the winners!
Again, I'll be back in the morning with natural light versions that do these cards their due justice! I'll also have the supply lists up then, too! Talk at you later! Hope you had a great day!

Moxie Fab World - Old Country Christmas #2
I had many great ideas that I was never able to finish in time for this challenge at Moxie Fab World, but this and the following post will at least show a couple of those ideas. I will probably complete the others later in the week because I really love the papers I was thinking of using.
As usual, I will reshoot this in the morning in the natural light. Please come back tomorrow and check again - and I will then add all the supply list item as well! :)
Thanks!

Good Morning {Cabo} Sunshine - Inspired Blueprints #36
It's feeling a little wintery here in CT! The temperatures are fairly moderate for this time of year, but the wind is blowing, and there is a definite chill in the air! Today I took my son to a birthday party at a Train Museum, complete with a train ride and a spin on the train rotater (outside of the train!) It was so fun to see how much fun the kids were having, but I was definitely thinking, I should have worn, or at least brought a coat! I am certain, by New Year's I am going to be begging to go back to Cabo! That's why I got out my pics from our vacation last year for sketch #36 at Inspired Blueprints.
I'll be back tomorrow with some detail shots and the Supply List. For now, I'm off to fix dinner! Hope you are having a great weekend! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! My daughter and I made these cute little turkeys this morning. At first I was thinking for place settings, but then I thought it would make a cute card, too. We'll be making a few more later today. Maybe I'll post the final outcomes later.
Have a wonderful holiday whether you are having a large family gathering or a small intimate dinner. Thanksgiving is about being thankful for what you have right now. For me, even though we are not able to spend the holiday with all of our family back home, we have the 4 of us here and we have a delightful day planned, sharing together.
Have a wonderful day!
